Had a fantastic 3 nights in this pub. Warm welcome from all, live music every night we were there. Sat in the front parlour on the first night with the musicians, who chatted to us. So welcoming. What an experience.

It almost feels like you are in someone’s house. A number of locals turned up with their instruments and played traditional tunes (not songs!) and a couple of others sang beautifully. A wonderful evening in a great bar.

This place is amazing. You walk in and think what is This? It’s so unique. Lots of people just turn up and play music and we sat to the wee small hours getting to know the locals and the musicians. Fab place!

Every room was full with people sitting and drinking, including on the stairs. The quaintest bar I’ve ever been in and the barman Joe filled us in on the history of the place. Never ever change this bar cause it is perfect.

I love this place, you just never know what kind of a night you are going to have. Very talented musicians can be there playing mostly Irish traditional music. Such a wide range of talent and everyone welcome.

I wondered in solo one evening for a pint and was invited to participate and listen to multiple local musicians play and sing a wide variety of music. The atmosphere is unique with each small room offering its own feel.
